Rasmus has a background in film and photography, studying 3 years of film and image at JB Education in Sweden. Furthering his craft he earned a diploma and advanced diploma in Cinematography at Sydney Film School, Australia.
Growing up in the darkroom with his mother being the photographer, Rasmus found his passion for images early on in life and started practising from an early childhood. Now he works as a freelance video and photographer in the Sydney, Australia, and Sweden.

Images are so fascinating to me because they reflect both the subjects personality when looking at the individual frame, but also the observers take of the individual as you start zooming out to look at a photo series or a film as a whole.

The reason some portraits don’t look true to life is that some people make no effort to resemble their pictures
— Salvador Dalí

It's funny how certain smells and sounds are connected to memory. For me the smell of tobacco will always take me back to when I was but a kid sitting in my grandfathers studio.
He was a painter, and I could watch him paint for hours on end.
Grandpa Paul would paint images of his surroundings, and I thought to myself; I have seen these places before. But never from this perspective.
This thought gradually sparked an obsession with showcasing the different point of views you will find all around you, you rarely have to look far to find a unique story to tell. And there is always two sides to that story.
